Hungarian strings

utánpotlás

Who will play Hungarian music in Sydney when The Transylvaniacs retire?
Are we going to stand back and let it disappear?

Now is the time to start building a Hungarian folk band for the next generation. Kengugró and The Transylvaniacs are running group music lessons for kids (over 8yrs) and young adults.

Learn to play hegedü/violin  (intermediate to advanced), brácsa/viola and bögö/double bass (any level) from band members, Mark Richards and Sally Corry.

Plenty of opprtunities to play at dancing, táncház and picnics.
You don’t need to have a Hungarian background, just a love of the music.
