Our first visit to Hungary in 1987 as a group after forming in 1986. We are participating in a parade with the Bocskai Együttes from Hajdúböszörmény. This was made possible by Kiss Ferenc, teacher and dancer from Debrecen who was teaching the Bocskai egyuttes.
Kengugró attended dance seminars in Debrecen, Velem and Mezökövesd. Teachers included Zoltán Zsuráfszky & Zsuzsa Vincze, Szilard Szabó & Ildikó Németh, Sándor Timár and Ferenc Kiss. Suprisingly, we performed at the thermal baths in Hajdúszoboszló (we were the only people with clothes on!) then ended-up in a Tokaj cellar where we learned the true meaning of "bulizni”.
