Photo essay by Zoltán Csipke.
We are so proud to have hosted the Kengugró Kalotaszegi Tábor in Heathcote, 12-21 April 2025 where dancers, musicians and young families from around Australia (and one from Pozsony), gathered to learn Kalotaszegi straight from the source.
Our eternal thanks go to the artists and teachers who led this unbelievable tábor: Zoltán Varga, Katalin András, FolkOtthon, Csűrös Band, The Transylvaniacs, Sofia Chapman, George Kubányi, Michelle Turcsányi and Magyar Iskola Sydney.
For the best tábor food ever, Csilla and Tóni.
To our own organising committee who spent countless hours planning and preparing everything.
To the energetic bunch of KCSP ambassadors who worked and partied hard.
Also to our amazing community of Aussie-Hungarian dance groups who brought the buli: Keszkenő Hungarian Folk Dance Group, Fonó Hungarian Dance Group - Melbourne and Kaláris Hungarian Dance Group of SA.
