In 1998 we were lucky enough to invite Gábor Boka to Sydney to work with Kengugró. Using his well-known style of theatre workshopping, we recreated the story of “John the Valiant” written by Sándor Petőfi. The costumes and props alone were a massive creative project and we thoroughly enjoyed embodying the various quirky characters. We presented the hilarious show at the Woodford Folk Festival, Sydney Festival, Newtown and the Hungarian House.
